How does a document review work?

A submission is routed to the receiving organisation's responsible team. Reviewers give an opinion and mark up the drawing in the browser; the manager records the decision as A, B, C or D. Where several reviewers are involved the worst status wins, and the outcome is written back onto the revision.

Can drawings be marked up without extra software?

Yes. PDFs open in the browser with redlining tools, and comments are saved against the revision so the next reviewer and the submitter see the same markup.

How is revision control enforced?

Document numbers are immutable and revisions run in sequence. A new revision cannot be started while the previous one is still open for review, so the register always shows one current position per document.

Yes. Work and material inspections carry mandatory checklists — an inspection cannot be submitted until every line is answered — and failures can be carried into non-conformance or site observation reports.

How does snagging work?

A snag is raised against another organisation with severity, location and photos, and assigned to a person there. Closure is requested with evidence photos and then approved by the raiser or their QA/QC manager, so a snag is never closed by claim alone.

Approved programme revisions become the live baseline for activity tracking. Manpower, equipment and quantity logs feed period analysis and weekly or monthly reports, with working calendars, shifts, site photographs and resource shortfalls included.

Each company on the project is added as an organisation with its own code, logo and letterhead, then added to a project as a party with named key contacts such as project manager, document controller and QA/QC.

What roles are there?

Workspace administrators manage the whole workspace. Organisation administrators do the same work but only inside their own company, including adding more administrators there. Project administrators run a project, and project team members work within the rights they were given.

Who can submit and who can decide?

Submission rights are granted per person and per record type, so only nominated people can submit drawings, letters or inspection requests. Decisions are taken by the manager of the receiving organisation, separately from reviewer opinions.

How do I add someone to a project?

A project or organisation administrator adds the person to their organisation, then places them on the project party and, where relevant, names them as a key contact for a team such as document control or QA/QC.

Who receives the alerts on a record?

The receiving teams selected in the project settings, plus that organisation's manager, and anyone copied in. Alerts arrive by email and, where enabled, WhatsApp.

Close-out and status reports carry a QR stamp that links back to the live record, so anyone holding the paper can confirm the status shown is the status held.

No. Reports are digitally generated from the record and carry a note stating that no physical signature is required, along with the organisation logo and named signatories.

The project name and code, the organisations taking part with their key contacts, the disciplines in use, and which receiving teams should be responsible for each record type. Existing document lists can be brought in from a spreadsheet.

Plans start at $150 a month for Starter (1 active project, up to 8 users, 20GB storage, document control and formal communication), $450 for Professional (5 projects, up to 25 users, 100GB storage, adding progress review and quality management) and $1,500 for Enterprise (20 projects, up to 100 users, unlimited storage and the full feature set including commercial and cost management, health and safety, handover, compliance and API access). Extra projects are $20 a month each and extra users $10 a month each on any plan. Applicable taxes are extra and added at checkout; businesses can enter their TRN or VAT number for exemption where it applies. Subscriptions are bought for 3, 6 or 12 months, with 5% off six months and 10% off twelve.
